What Fans Think of Bruno Mars’ Latest Collaboration ‘Fat, Juicy & Wet’ After Chart Topping Hits ‘Die With A Smile’ and ‘APT.’
Bruno Mars is on a roll! After collaborating with Lady Gaga and BLACKPINK’s Rosé, both resulting in commercially successful hits, Mars is back with another collab—this time with Sexxy Red.
Bruno Mars’ “Fat, Juicy & Wet”
In an Instagram post, Mars shared that his collaboration with Lady Gaga, “Die With A Smile,” is at number one on Billboard’s Hot 100, while “APT.,” his collaboration with Rosé, is at number five. He also reposted that the songs are at numbers 3 and 1, respectively, on the Billboard Global chart.
He then announced he was on his way to the studio “to make a strip club anthem so I can celebrate and properly act up this weekend. Someone please help me get in touch with Sexyy Red!!”
His collaboration with Sexxy Red produced the song “Fat, Juicy & Wet” with Lady Gaga and Rosé cameoing in the song’s music video.
What Fans Think of “Fat, Juicy & Wet”
After the heart-melting lyrics of “Die With A Smile,” with lyrics like “If the world was ending/I’d wanna be next to you/If the party was over/And our time on Earth was through/I’d wanna hold you just for a while/And die with a smile/If the world was ending/I’d wanna be next to you,” and the boppy and catchy “APT.” which Korean students banned temporarily, “Fat, Juicy & Wet” took a different turn. Lyrically, it’s a song you shouldn’t listen while driving your kids to school or while picking up your grandmother from the airport. But then again, Mars did warn us it’s a “strip club anthem.” It’s a strip club song, all right, with the melody really urging you to shake them hips.
Comments on the music video and the song range from supportive to funny with one commenting, “I like how the music industry has come together to get Bruno out of debt,” referencing the rumors about Bruno Mars being in a lot of debt because of gambling. Another wrote, “Bruno really just does WHATEVER he wants in this industry and he’s so real for that” and that Mars is on “a sidequest to collab with every genre music as possible.”
Fans also loved Gaga and Rosé’s cameo noting their friendship with Mars is real and how he’s “GOT to be the music industry’s favorite work husband.”
