Megan Thee Stallion Sparks Romance Rumors In ‘Couples Challenge’
Rapper Megan Thee Stallion might have a new flame on her hands. She accidentally gave fans a sneak peek of her and Chicago Bulls star Torrey Craig taking on a couple’s challenge in a TikTok clip that’s now been deleted. In the video, Megan and Craig answered relationship questions while keeping their eyes shut and pointing to each other, as captured in a MuchMusic screen recording.
When asked who said “I love you” first, they both pointed at each other. And when it came to deciding who’s the better kisser, the unanimous vote was for Megan. They also agreed that Megan is the one who’s more likely to get arrested, start arguments, need attention, cook better, have better style, and take longer to get ready. Megan and Craig didn’t finish the challenge, cutting it off after the question, “Whose mother-in-law likes them more.”
Before Craig, Megan was romantically linked to Pardison “Pardi” Fontaine, whom she met while working on the “Savage” remix with Beyoncé. She confirmed their relationship in February 2021 during an Instagram Live session.
In May 2023, Megan fueled breakup rumors when she showed up at a wedding with Belgian soccer player Romelu Lukaku. Her November 2023 track “Cobra” hinted at infidelity, though Lukaku denied the allegations.
Craig, who has been in the NBA for seven years, was previously linked to reality star Nicole Zavala from Cartel Crew.
Earlier this month, Megan was announced as the host for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards and is up for five awards. Her hosting gig follows the release of her self-titled third album in June. The album features the TikTok-viral track “Mamushi,” named after a snake found in Japan.
Speaking to L’Officiel USA in May, the artist shared why the reptile influenced her latest era. “We don’t just stop at the snake. This is just what everybody sees right now. Renewal, rebirth: that is the whole concept of this [album],” she told the outlet.
“We started with the snake because, first of all, I love snakes, but I feel like snakes are so misunderstood, especially in Western culture,” Megan added. “Snakes represent rebirth, spirituality.”
She continued, “I’m not really a person that’s like, Oh my God, sunshine and just super bubbly, happy. I like darker things. I like things that are a little scary. I like things that are unique. I picked the snake because… it’s kind of like an antihero.”
