- Finding her balance as a wife, mother, and international superstar”
What Makes Eve’s Audiobook So Great
Eve’s Who’s That Girl? audiobook is incredible. When I read a memoir, if the writer has narrated the book, it’s a no-brainer for me. I love listening to the author bring the book to life in the way they mean for you to hear it. It’s the author’s tone and the mood they want to set for their book. You get to experience their feelings and emotions. And in her debut memoir, Eve’s Who’s That Girl? is a fantastic example of what makes memoir audiobooks so great. She is so exciting to listen to. While I’m driving, it’s like sitting around listening to one of my girls tell me her life stories, and I love it!
Eve is passionate, raw, and honest, and it shows. In her book, she gives you the best of who she is as a rapper, and that translates into her delivery as a narrator.
Shameless (Unpaid) Plug For Libro.fm Audiobooks
First of all, your local library is a great resource for audiobooks. Check with your local branch to find out how you can listen to some great audiobooks for free. That said, if you’re looking to buy it, anytime I can give independent bookstores some love, I’m gonna do it. That brings me to Libro.fm for audiobooks.
So Libro.fm is an audiobook service similar to the other big audiobook service. The difference, and it’s a big one, is that they allow you to designate a part of your audiobook sales to the independent bookstore of your choice. I was a longtime customer of the other one but switched in order to support my local store. The good news from Libro.fm is that “when you start a new one credit per month membership supporting local bookstores with promo code SWITCH, weâll give you two bonus audiobook credits at sign-up.” It’s a win-win in my book. No pun intended.
If you make the switch, give Eve’s Who’s That Girl? a listen. You won’t regret it!
