There's a new favorite in town as the most popular Halloween Candy for 2024 has been named. The list has been put together by CandyStore.com. They're an online store that's been around since 2007, features a wide array of bulk candies. They serve up old-fashioned candy, chocolates, salt water taffy, wedding and holiday candies, and more. Here's this year's most popular Halloween candy, along with some of the top candy trends of the year.

A new favorite Halloween candy has been named, and for the first time, it's not Reese's Cups! The torch has now been passed to M&M's. Reese's Cups did come in second, and don't be surprised if it makes a comeback next year. People LOVE their Reese's Cups. Here's the entire Top 10.

  1. M&M's
  2. Reese's Cups
  3. Sour Patch Kids
  4. Skittles
  5. Starburst
  6. Hot Tamales
  7. Candy Corn
  8. Hershey Kisses
  9. Hershey Mini Bars
  10. Butterfinger

Besides the dethroning of Reese's Cups, there are some other candy trends for 2024. Sour Patch Kids have gotten more popular than previous years, and now have the #3 spot. Love it or hate it (personally I hate it), but Candy Corn has climbed the candy ladder to claim the #7 spot. And if you're a Butterfinger fan, you're not alone! It's made it's way into the top ten for the first time, and has even made the top spot in some states like Massachusetts, Wisconsin, South Carolina, and Oklahoma.

My personal favorite is Twizzlers which no one else seems to like. That's ok with me because I always ask the kids in my life to hand them over if they don't want them. They always do! Happy Halloween everyone and I hope it's a sweet and safe night for you.
