Diddy Arrested By Feds In New York City. It’s been some time coming but Sean “Diddy” Combs has finally been taken into custody after a grand jury indictment. It happened Monday night after Homeland Security raided the Park Hyatt Hotel on 57th Street in Manhattan around 8:15pm. The arrest came after an ongoing investigation into sex trafficking crimes and other offenses although we won’t know the exact charges against him until the indictment is unsealed later today.
Sources say Diddy’s arrest was scheduled for Tuesday but that it had been moved up to Monday. Diddy’s attorney still maintains his innocence. In a statement, Marc Agnifilo says: “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Sean “Diddy” Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community.” He went on to say: “please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
Diddy is currently being held at the FBI Field Office in Manhattan. Word is he is expected at a court hearing later today where the indictment will be unsealed and we will learn more about the charges against him.
