Pallbearers Fall Into Grave, What's The Craziest Thing You've Seen At A Funeral?

Dolor – Funeral with coffin on a cemetery, the casket carried by coffin bearer

Beasley DAM

A funeral is already a gut wrenching event so you'd hope that nothing would go wrong to make it even more sad. Unfortunately that can't be said about the family of Benjamin Aviles. Pallbearers were preparing his coffin for his burial Friday at Greenmount Cemetery in Philadelphia when they fell in after the platform collapsed underneath them. The shocking video has gone viral and made us think about the worst thing you've seen at a funeral. We asked the questions of our listeners and as always, you delivered.

Casey told us: "My friend comes from a very religious and conservative family. At her mother’s funeral- in front of their 8 kids and 40 grandkids- her father decided to speak against marriage equality by explaining, in depth, what it was like seeing his wife naked for the first time. I’ve never recovered."

Erica said: "The dead persons 8 or 9 children line up around the casket for one last family photo."

Kevin told us: "A woman burst in and loudly complained about the parking situation…mid-eulogy." The audacity!

Heather said she saw undercover cops at someone's funeral.

Ronald: "At my grandmas funeral she was too big for the casket so they through her on the table like a cooked pig. Only thing missing was the apple in her mouth."

And this one has to the ultimate form of disrespect. Ali told us: "Mfr’s leaning in the casket to take a selfie

🤦🏼‍♀️

Now if you're taking a selfie with a loved one's dead body, that is another level of LOW. What is the craziest thing you've seen at a funeral? Let us know by email us getupcrew@hot969boston.com.
