Spring is my absolute favorite season, and while it’s still technically winter, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The reason I love spring so much is because of what it signifies and how it makes me feel. It’s the feeling of shedding the weight of winter. It’s the excitement of new beginnings. It’s the hope of new adventures and opportunities. Spring makes me so happy.
Spring feels almost magical to me. Being able to watch the first flowers burst through the ground, or to notice the buds on trees slowly open little by little each day on your way to work or school. To all the people who have horrible spring allergies, I am so sorry that you aren’t able to experience this magic in the same way.
Besides being able to get outside more and take off the heavy coats of winter, I love how spring feels like a new beginning for myself as well. It makes me feel like I’m able to shed some protective layers in order to grow and bloom. I feel a little freer to try new things in my life. Whether it’s a new outfit or hairstyle, signing up for a new class, joining a new club, or whatever else could help you burst open the bud of winter you’ve been in, do it!
While we’re still “thugging it out” through the rest of winter, let’s also look forward to the blooming season in our lives. Think about the ways you would like to grow, and learn, and shine in this new season. It’s going to look different for each of us, but we all deserve a special season of being open, beautiful, and free.
What do you want your blooming season to look like? Take some time this week to think about it. I’ll be discussing it more in this week’s podcast on Wednesday. Have a great week, and enjoy that extra hour of sunlight.
Positively yours,
Pebbles 💜
