What Sound Or Random Thing Makes You Instantly Angry?

Angry and rude driver portrait sitting in his car

So we saw a recent survey about random sounds that make people angry. Some of the things mentioned included Styrofoam rubbing on Styrofoam . . . "This makes my teeth and brain hurt." Microwaves that keep beeping after you have opened the door. The chirp of a dying battery in a smoke detector. The Microsoft Teams alert . . . "The sound of an incoming Teams call puts me in fight or flight." Smacking when eating.

That made us think. What random thing gets you angry? Not just sounds. We asked and you delivered. Allow me to give you a couple of my personal favorites. PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW THEY CAN TURN RIGHT ON RED! Learn the rules of the road. People who don't turn right on red when they legally can hold up traffic not to mention, it's just annoying.

Sherry Lyn: "When people talk during my shows. Also, when people talk to me when I’m eating. Basically just when people talk"

Michelle Bragg: "When one of my coworkers encroaches on my personal space at the break table."

Todd: "People that walk slow in front of me in the supermarket." This is real...people who walk slow in stores kill me.

Sheryl: "The smell of weed coming out of moving cars. Weed is legal where I live. Not legal to drive under the influence however. Tell me you don’t give a crap about anyone but yourself by smoking weed while driving. Seriously, instant rage."

Payne: :Toyota drivers. It’s a scientific fact when you get to the root of ALL unnecessary traffic it’s the fault of a Toyota driver"

Keep em coming. I mean, maybe we all need some sort of therapy. Either way, we shouldn't be this angry. But it happens. Shoot us an email with yours: getupcrew@hot969boston.com.
