NBA Playoff Bets Gone Horribly Wrong

First, Ramiro bet his left testicle on the Celtics, now one of the Celtics' own legends Paul Pierce has to pay up on a bet of his own.

Apparently Boston Celtics fans are so confident their team will beat the Knicks in the NBA Eastern Conference Semi Finals that they're making ridiculous bets to prove their confidence. Monday morning, Ramiro of The Getup Crew said if the Celtics lost that night, he's cut off his left testicle the next day. So when the Celtics blew a 20 point lead Monday night and lost Game 1, you can imagine the shock. Knicks fans came out of the woodwork and demanded Ramiro pay up. Obviously, he didn't. But you'd think people like him would learn.

Fast forward to Wednesday on FS1 when Paul Pierce made this bold claim: "If the Celtics lose Game 2 at home, I'm walking here tomorrow, 15 miles. In my robe, no shoes on, barefoot ... put the house on this game."

And as we all know this morning, the Celtics once again blew a 20 point lead and lost to the Knicks in Game 2. Now will Paul Pierce pay off his bet? That has yet to be seen at the time of this post. However, he did map out his route last night in a separate post on X.

Will Paul pay up? Let this be a lesson kids. No matter how confident you are, never make a bet you aren't intending to keep.
