While a pregnancy announcement is supposed to be a great thing, Rihanna's latest announcement has come to the dismay of some of her fan base. In case you missed it, Rihanna made a statement at the Met Gala Monday night but showing off her baby bump and what the world is embracing as her expecting her third child with A$AP Rocky. Rocky himself was gushing with the paparazzi saying he's ecstatic and that there is so much love within their family. But the "Navy" as Rihanna's fans are called are showing mixed emotion about this development. While most are happy for her and Rocky, there are a small few that are cringing at the news because it means that her much anticipated album may not be coming after all.

Rihanna has been working on her upcoming album "R9" for some time now. Rihanna recently talked about the long anticipated album saying "It has to count. It has to matter. I have to show them the worth in the wait. I cannot put up anything mediocre. After waiting eight years, you might as well just wait some more.” So the fact that we will most likely have to wait even longer for R9 has some fans highly upset. Here are some reactions:

@headnavy: "Rihanna, when we said R9, we meant the album… not 9 kids."

@spicebae_ actually sympathizes: "lol Rihanna really gave us her younger years and now she's dedicating these years to herself, her man, and her family.... can't be mad at that"

@pedrovulu brought up the irony of the timing: "This definitely happened after the no guilty verdict"

@ell_reezy: "ASAP said the first two times were nice, he had to go for the three-peat"

@agronveliu97: "Rihanna pregnant again! the album cover gonna be an ultrasound at this point.."

Regardless of how we all feel, we need to put our selfishness aside and be happy for this woman and her family. She's given us some amazing music. Now let her enjoy her family.
