We Want Samantha! Why Fans Are ‘Bored’ With And Just Like That Season 3 Trailer

The Sex and the City sequel series "And Just Like That..." is set to come back to Max in May and the trailer for season 3 dropped yesterday. Unfortunately the buzz for the new season did not have the impact many expected.

You'll remember, at the end of season 2, Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw was seen having a phone conversation with Kim Cattrall's character Samantha Jones which seemed to end their on screen beef. The two have beef off screen as well but many thought this was a premonition that Samantha may be back for season 3. However, the new trailer shows none of that and it looks like we won't be getting that Carrie and Samantha reunion after all.

Because of that, fan reactions to the trailer have been mixed to say the least. One social media user said: “And just like that….im already bored 🙄."

Another user said: "And just like that… you guaranteed I’d never watch this show. Very bad marketing choice."

Then there are the people who aren't exactly looking forward to the Carrie and Aidan part 3/4 relationship.

"Carrie is still trying to figure things out with Aidan after all this time?"

"Carrie leave that damn man alone"

While it looks like we won't be seeing Samantha's return in season 3, it does look like we'll see more development in Carrie and Aidan's unresolved relationship. Miranda may have a new love interest. The secondary characters also get some development in season 3. Whether or not you're looking forward to the upcoming season, it's coming and we'll start the roller coaster ride on May 29th on Max.
