But why? Why do we consider going back to the relationship that obviously didn't work out for a reason? Why do we think it'll be better the second time around? Especially in cases where there was pain and trauma involved. It's a question we posed on our Facebook page and the answers given may surprise you although they may give you some clarity.
Why did this question come up? Over the weekend, The Shade Room posted a story on its IG about fans urging Karrueche to get back with her ex Chris Brown after seeing them laughing and talking at Coachella over the weekend. To refresh your memory, Chris and Karrueche had an on again off again relationship starting in 2011 for several years. They eventually split for good when Karrueche filed for a restraining order saying Chris was physically and emotionally abusive towards her. So why would people be urging Karrueche to go back to the man who hurt her?

Okay, I understand living, learning and growing. But something inside me thinks that most people don't change who they are. They may change certain aspects of their personality but who you are as a person is deeply rooted inside of you and there's always that saying: "When someone shows you who are they, believe them."
Lori answered: "They were young and now they have grown up. The heart doesn't just stop loving someone."
I do understand that people can grow up, especially when they made mistakes when they were younger. But what are the chances?
And Jorge messaged us saying: "All I want to say is if there's children involved then it's possible with therapy and God! If no kids are involved... take it as a lesson learned."
