What Random Place Are You Banned From And Why?
Have you ever been banned from somewhere? Whether the reasons were right or wrong, it’s happened to many of us. If you listen to our show, you learned it actually happens a lot more than you may think.
This morning, we were discussing a story about a Massachusetts state trooper who has been banned from ever visiting a Target store again. He’s also been suspended without pay and faces several counts of theft after he allegedly used a “skip scan” tactic at self checkout. He is being accused of not scanning certain items at self check out and walking out not paying for them.
So this made us think. What random place have you been banned from and why? And man oh man, you all had some amazing answers. Here are some of our favorites:
Message from someone who wanted to remain anonymous: “Hubbs and I are banned from the Squire….yes….of all places…. The Squire on the Malden/Revere line. I moved to the South Shore after high school and Hubbs and his friends wanted a ‘North Shore’ night. Anywho…. Hubbs tried to follow me into the ladies room for a quickie. A giant bouncer woman followed him in and dragged him out by the collar!Banned for life. Fine with me!!!”
Jenny Lynn: “My dogs prior vet. They took her back to change a bandage from a wound. They told me I couldn’t go back. My pup was screaming and I’ve never heard that before. I demanded to go in there and the receptionist said no. So I opened the door and got my dog out of there. They were yelling at me never to come back. I wasn’t planning on it anyway. F that.”
Alyssa Dineen: “A Walmart location for riding a bike around the store singing Christmas carols with a helmet on and a bike horn! Rode right past the registers. I used to work at a Walmart for years as a manager so I also know the code for the intercom! I so want to fart into the intercom!!”
Kelly Ann Heede: “Not me but when my Grandfather was alive he was an avid golfer even in his 80s. The course he used to play at all the time he had an altercation with the grounds keeper about the condition of the greens. Anyways he ended up getting banned from the golf course at age 87 for life! They banned a man in his late 80s from the course for LIFE! Lmao!”
