Planets is offering a job that on the surface, sounds like it's nowhere near a good salary. But after reading what the job entails, I personally would seriously consider the position. Take the awful salary off the table, the job really comes with a lot of perks.

Let's first look at what exactly is required. The job title would be official brand ambassador for Planters Nutmobile. You would get benefits and you would get a travel stipend. You would be driving all over the country as part of the "Peanutter Squad." You'll also manage event planning, pitch the brand to local media, and occasionally dress up in costume.

So besides the salary being VERY low, this job actually sounds amazing for someone who has not traveled much. That's the key word here: TRAVEL. I personally hate flying. I've had the irrational fear my entire life and while I still fly, I feel I limit myself because of it. Having a car to drive all over the country and being paid to do so would give me the opportunity to see places I normally wouldn't see. AND imagine getting paid for that. Now also, keep in mind this job is only for one year. After the year is over, you'll most likely be fired and/or replaced but imagine what you'll get to see in that year. Keep an open mind and a job such as this one now sounds like a free ticket to see the United States.

So maybe I've changed your mind and now you want to apply for this job. If so, get your resume in order. You have until February 14 to apply and you can apply HERE. The mission statement for the Peanutters is: "traveling the salty streets of America year-round, our goal is to spread joy and crack smiles across the country." Apply today and think of how much fun you could have!
